International Peace & Love Day..

International Peace & Love Day is celebrated on July 7 to spread positive energy across the world. Peace and love don’t cost a thing, but their power goes far beyond anything words can capture. Peace is viewed differently in different cultures. Among the Zulu people in Africa, the philosophy known as “Ubuntu” teaches that humanity is interconnected. To the Japanese, ‘Heiwa’ means “aligning oneself to the common good.” The Hebrew word for “unity and prosperity, with a sense of wholeness arising from justice” is “Shalom.” It appears that the majority of cultures agree that the world requires more love and peace.

Star Festival..
************************************
Star Festival, or Tanabata, is celebrated every year in Japan on July 7. This religious festival commemorates the meeting of the gods Hikoboshi and Orihime. In Japanese, ‘Tanabata’ means ‘evening of the seventh,’ which is why the day is celebrated on the seventh day of the seventh month of the year. The exact dates vary as residents follow the Gregorian and lunar calendars. The day is celebrated across Japan with people decorating their houses with bright lights and confetti to celebrate the meeting of the two lovers. If you think about it, Star Festival is a festival that celebrates love!
