Shavuot, also known as the Feast of Weeks, is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah to Moses at Mount Sinai, and also marks the beginning of the wheat harvest. It is celebrated 50 days after Passover, and is one of the three pilgrimage festivals in Judaism.
